Prateek holds an M.Tech in Agricultural Engineering from IGKV, Raipur, specializing in Soil and Water Conservation Engineering. He has worked with Asar for the past 3 years as part of the organization’s Air Quality Network.
Based in Dhanbad, his work focuses on sustainable mining and air quality issues, where he engages with mining-affected communities and local institutions. In Jamshedpur, he works closely with marginalized communities living in industrially impacted areas to strengthen awareness, support policy efforts, and facilitate participatory clean-air initiatives.
He also provides strategic support to the Dhanbad Municipal Corporation (DMC) in implementing the IEC components of the National Clean Air Programme (NCAP) and contributes to improving air-quality governance in the region.
