Satyam Kumar has worked in the development sector since 2019 and has been associated with Asar for approximately two years. As a Program Officer with the Air Quality Team at Asar, he works on air pollution and climate change, focusing on marginalized communities and their upliftment.

His work involves designing and implementing community-centered interventions, strengthening local capacities, and supporting efforts that address the disproportionate impact of environmental challenges on vulnerable populations. He has also contributed to media reports on climate change, highlighting its local impacts and lived realities, particularly in mining-affected regions.

Satyam is interested in environmental issues and storytelling as a means to drive awareness and change. Outside of work, he enjoys exploring new places, reading books, and trying different cuisines.
