Seasons of Change: Jharkhand’s
Women Artists Trace Shifting

Climate | A Virtual Exhibition

When the land dries, forests burn, and rivers shrink, women often carry the heaviest burdens yet remain the least heard. In May 2025, 19 artists came together for the Painting Workshop on Gender and Climate Change, organised by Deshaj Abhikram and Asar Social Impact Advisors.

This exhibition brings their work to the wider world, ensuring their experiences and insights receive the attention they deserve. Through vivid colours, bold lines, and compelling storytelling, their paintings express loss, resilience, care, and quiet resistance.

This immersive space invites you to explore each artwork, meet the artists, and understand the realities behind their images. Together, the works create a portrait of a region where climate change is inseparable from equity, survival, and dignity.
Let the stories unfold as you move through the exhibition.
