The Hidden Danger in Our Homes: How Clean Cooking Can Save Lives

Meet Rajesh, Renu, and Kumar — a family like millions of others across India, unknowingly exposed to a serious health hazard inside their own home.

This animated short film sheds light on the deadly threat of household air pollution caused by traditional cooking fuels like wood, coal, dung, and crop waste. These practices contribute to severe health issues such as asthma, pneumonia, tuberculosis, eye irritation, and complications during pregnancy.

But the problem goes beyond indoor smoke — it merges with outdoor pollution to create a harmful mix that especially affects women and children.

What Can Families Do?

  • Switch to clean cooking fuels like LPG, induction cookers, or solar cookers
  • Improve kitchen ventilation for safer air
  • Spread awareness in your community to protect more families

Change begins at home. Your choices can protect your loved ones and inspire healthier, cleaner environments everywhere.
