Co-Creation Conclave: Sustainable Transition for aClimate Resilient Maharashtra

The journey toward climate resilience in Maharashtra took a major step forward at the Co-Creation Conclave on Just Transition held in Pune. Over two days, more than 30 grassroots organizations, civil society leaders, academics, government officials, and unions came together to address a crucial question:

How can Maharashtra’s shift to a low-carbon economy be just, inclusive, and community-driven?

Co-hosted by Asar and PDAG, in partnership with the State Climate Action Cell (SCAC), this conclave was Maharashtra’s first grassroots-focused dialogue on climate change and just transition.

Key Highlights:

  • Panel discussions on climate resilience, sustainable agriculture, MSMEs, gender equity, and forest rights
  • Regional engagement across Vidarbha, Marathwada, Pune, and other areas
  • Workshops focused on livelihoods, ecological sustainability, and inclusive climate planning
  • Planning pathways for regional consultations, capacity building, and media outreach

This video brings to life the vibrant discussions, diverse voices, and shared vision of a movement committed to climate justice and a fair transition.
