Anxiety to Action – Helping Youth Through the Climate Crisis

Climate Anxiety amongst our youth is a reality. A recent survey of first-time voters across 4 states by the CEN and Asar Social Impact Advisors showed that a majority of young respondents have a negative outlook on the climate crisis. This includes emotions such as fear, anxiety, helplessness and anger. Maharashtra showed the highest number of negative emotions at close to 80% while Delhi showed the lowest, but even that is at 61%. These numbers paint an important picture. We speak to psychologist Vani Subramanian to help make sense of it.
