Asar and Culture Shift India warmly invite you to the fourth session of our Gender and Climate Learning Series on “Organising, Counter Culture and Climate Action.”
Across the world, communities especially women have been at the heart of powerful organising through informal gatherings, art, music, storytelling, and everyday acts of care. These spaces have nurtured counter-cultures that shift dominant narratives, reclaim dignity, and make climate action a deeply personal and collective experience.
In this final session of the Gender and Climate Learning Series, we invite you to an immersive exploration of feminist organising and creative expression and how these forms of counter-culture build equitable pathways for climate action. Together, we will reflect on how such practices create emotional connections, nurture safety and belonging, and mobilise people across differences.
We will collectively explore:
- How counter-cultures shift dominant systems and narratives around climate
- The role of women’s organising in making climate action everyday, local, and rooted in care
- Tactics, practices, and creative tools for building equitable and just climate futures
This is not a conventional webinar, it will be an immersive visual experience.
Join us as we listen, sense, and learn from stories, music, and movements that have redefined what climate action can look and feel like.
