On September 3, Dhanbad Nagar Nigam, in collaboration with Asar, concluded the 90-day Paryavaran Utsav with a grand closing ceremony in Dhanbad. The event saw participation from over 1,200 people, including students, community members, civil society groups, and academics.

The ceremony featured 100+ school projects and a powerful Nukkad Natak by students. Distinguished guests, including the District Collector, Forest Officer, Vice Chancellor of BSK University, and CIIMFR Director, attended the event.

Launched on June 5, the campaign engaged over 5,000 students from 21 schools and 5 colleges, reaching every ward in Dhanbad through 27 community dialogues and activities like “Canvas for Clean Air.”

With strong support from Swachh Vayu Jharkhand, Paryavaran Utsav showcased the power of collective action for clean air and environmental sustainability.
